Early Years and the Law
The early part of Michael's career was spent in the security sector, in government and private roles. It was an education in discipline, discretion, and the assessment of risk, habits that have shaped how he works ever since.
He then studied law and business administration, taking a law degree and a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in finance, before practising at one of Israel's leading law firms. Legal training teaches a particular discipline: read the document before forming a view, understand who carries which risk, and recognise that the structure of an agreement often matters as much as its headline terms. That discipline has stayed with him. He approaches each opportunity from both a commercial and a transactional perspective, with attention to how a deal is built, not only to what it promises.
